PROJECTS

Deakin Centre, CUH

On this job, we transformed this damp rubber matting area into a more refined block paved area, with privacy fencing running around the perimeter. 170m2 of Stonemarket brindle blocks, creating distinct curves with edging kerbs to keep it's character and 54m of privacy fencing, matching the colour of the door and window trim of the existing building. Our client can now set out benches and tables in this area, which acts as an outdoor break area, after we decreased the fall the original surface had.

Histon, Cambridge

A big concrete pad we completed a couple years ago, which is now used as a pallet store for the food factory we done it for.

CUH, Cambridge

We replaced this area of worn-out fencing, which had become an eyesore, including metal frames for the gates to increase the strength. At a later date we returned to carry out more replacements along the fenceline to match it to the new gates we installed.

Willow Bridge Approach Works, Nene Park, Peterborough

On both sides of this bridge, we dug out, installed steel-reinforcing and concreted 6 pad foundations, 1 for the ballast wall to sit on and 5 for the fencing to sit on. We also built up the pathway with a layer of at least 225mm Type 1, timber spline edgings and 85mm of tarmac. Finishing off by importing fresh topsoil and grading it down to the existing levels. All works completed to the timeline set by our client.
